harvested from the Shea Tree by local women cooperative between May &
August. This traditional Ghanaian product has been hand crafted by local
women of the sub-Saharan Savannah-Sahel for decades, for both culinary &
cosmetic purposes. Shea butter is a healthy option for your body, both
internally and externally. Rich in vitamins A, E and F, this butter is full of
nutrients that aid in the production of collagen. It is considered one of the
best skin nourishing ingredients. The sustainable story of Shea butter
production is its greatest asset, providing solely women with a secured income
for their family. The women will harvest, clean & press the nuts themselves
(within their community) and then given the chance to negotiate their own price
before it arrives in Europe for refining. This raw material has made significant
positive impacts on communities within Ghana and delivering a new and stronger
infrastructure in so many communities that were in need. 100% Organic!• Cymbopogon martinii oil- Palmarosa essential oil has not

moisturize the skin & rebuild skin cells and regulate sebum production. It
has a soft sweet floral scent and it is also considered to be an excellent
skin-balancing oil for all skin types• Diatomaceous earth- Diatomaceous earth (DE) is made from
the fossilized remains of tiny, aquatic organisms called diatoms. Their
skeletons are made of a natural substance called silica. Over a long period of
time, diatoms accumulated in the sediment of rivers, streams, lakes, and
oceans. It contains silica, calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, selenium and
phosphorous which is great news because these essential minerals can be
absorbed through the skin. DE is beneficial to all skin types and has
exceptional absorbency power is due to the exceedingly high surface area of the
mineral particles thereby helping to absorb body moisture/perspiration. DE is
able to remove microscopic deposits of dirt, oils, and dead skin cells. Silica
in DE, is a natural detoxifying agent and helps absorb heavy metals such as
aluminium from the body, making it perfect for a deep detox.• Distarch phosphate- Rice starch is among the smallest of
the vegetable powders, resulting in extraordinary adsorption and absorption
characteristics so it absorbs perspiration released by the skin. The pores are
not blocked because the rice particles do not swell on the skin. Rice contains
a great deal of ferulic acid and allantoin. Ferulic acid is an anti-oxidant and
allantoin is inflammatory in natures and repairs the skin.• Eucalyptus citriodora oil - The fragrant grey-green
leaves of the Eucalyptus citriodora tree create a fresh, lemony, camphor-like
essential oil. Along with helping to purify the system and one’s surrounding
environment, eucalyptus citriodora essential oil is helpful in reducing
unwanted inflammation. This essential oils aroma can be calming and uplifting
. Eucalyptus citriodora is rich in citronellal. This gives it a fresh,
lemony scent with notes of rose and camphor. Citronellal also contributes to
Eucalyptus citriodora’s ability to discourage unwanted bugs.. -
• Glycerin - Completely Vegetable derived (extracted from coconut), glycerine has antibacterial properties as well as hydrating the skin. Glycerine helps keep your skin moisturised via drawing water from the environment and delivering it to all layers of your skin, whilst at the same time providing a fantastic barrier/protector to your skin.
• Helianthus annuus seed oil- Sunflower seed oil in the deodorants this oil supports the Vitamin E, protecting the oils and butters from going rancid.
• Hydrogenated olive oil- Olive wax is used to help stabilise the deodorant creams from melting in the heat and for keeping it soft for easier application. It provides an alternatives wax to the traditional beeswax, often used in deodorant creams. Olive oil benefits the skin with its softening, soothing and antioxidant properties.
• Lactobacillus ferment- Prebiotic that acts as a natural broad-spectrum antimicrobial in water free products (like Naivilo deodorants) by acidifying the environment and producing antimicrobial peptides called bacteriocins, which help to inhibit not so good bacteria on the skin. Additionally, it has nutritive skin conditioning benefits in deodorants. It is a prebiotic made by the fermentation of Lactobacillus acidophilus in the presence of sustainable castor oil.
• Magnesium hydroxide- Derived from seawater magnesium hydroxide powder acts as a powerful moisture absorber and neutralizes odour-causing bacteria removing the need of baking soda.
• Orbignya oleifera seed oil- Babassu oil Indigenous to Brazil, the Babassu tree is known as the Tree of Life. This oil has similar properties to coconut oil but has a low comedogenic rating ie it doesn’t block skin pores. Due to its anti-microbial nature, Babassu oil makes an excellent base for a deodorant. It has anti inflammatory effects on the skin as well as moisturising, soothing and protective benefits.
• Tocopherol- Vitamin E . This raw material is an antioxidant which aids in preventing the effects of free radicals which can damage your skin cells. It is added into the deodorants to maintain the shelf life of the oils and butter acting as a self-preservative.
Dry Armpit Detox Clay Ingredients
• Moroccan lava clay - Rhassoul clay also commonly known as Ghassoul, the name derives from the Arabic verb 'Rassala' which means 'to wash. The only known mineral deposit of Rhassoul on the planet is in Moulouya's Valley located in the Eastern high plateau of Morocco. Like Bentonite Clay, it has the ability to swell when added to water, but Rhassoul has an even higher silica and magnesium content, making it especially good for skin. In fact, this clay can be used daily instead of soap for a gentle way to cleanse that won't strip skin of beneficial oils. Rhassoul assists the detox process by improving skin elasticity, unclogging pores especially at the hair root, and removing excess surface oils
• Sodium Bentonite Powder- Bentonite clay is a highly absorbent quarry-mined clay from the U.S.A. True Bentonite clay contains up to 70% clay along with volcanic ash and over 70 different minerals that develops a mild electric charge when it is saturated with liquid. This quality is helpful in the absorption of positively charged toxins and metals from skin pores.
• Zeolite Clinoptilolite- Zeolites form when volcanic lava meets seawater. They are a unique mineral that are known to have a high negative charge which helps to absorb toxins, releases radicals and metals from your body. Since most toxins, such as heavy metals, radiation, and pesticides are positively charged, Zeolite is pulled towards toxins like a magnet and sucks them up into its structure. Zeolites have been used for hundreds of years as human body cleansers.
